Continuity of Antenatal and Postnatal Care
First Beat Midwives offers a continuity of care package with all visits being performed in your home. This package of care commences at the beginning of your pregnancy and finishes 6 weeks after your baby is born. This does not include the birth.
The benefit of this package is that you receive personalised maternity care from one midwife allowing a trusting relationship to form and gaining an experience, empowering you to make safe, evidence based decisions regarding your pregnancy, birth and postnatal care. 

Antenatal Care
First Beat Midwives can provide personalised maternity care in the comfort of your own home solely or shared care with your GP or obstetrician.
As Endorsed Midwives we can order all blood tests and Ultrasounds and will assist you with developing your personalised birth plan.

Postnatal Care
First Beat Midwives provides holistic care up to 6 weeks after your baby is born in the comfort of your own home. We also work with other health practitioners as required to ensure we can fulfil your individualised care needs.

Collaboration and Shared Care
First Beat Midwives now have a collaborative agreement with Dr Stas Vashevnik, Glengarry Hospital and a shared care agreement with Joondalup Healthcare Campus.
The benefits to women and their families of this model of care include care in the setting of an established therapeutic relationship, community based holistic care in the comfort of your own home, more convenient consultation times, less waiting times in hospital clinics, less travelling time and expense and improved continuity and coordination of care.
